What Namechecked collects

Namechecked stores the Google identity details needed to create and secure your account, the organizations you join, their role assignments and invitations, the website projects they claim, each project's verification state, automation history, and collected SEO evidence.

Connected services

Google OAuth is used for sign-in. If you install the Namechecked GitHub App, Namechecked reads only the selected repository's metadata, contents, commits, and deployment history. The App also receives repository contents and pull-request write access so an authorized user can explicitly run Fix now. That action is restricted to a protected new branch, verified commit, and draft pull request; it cannot merge, push to the default branch, or deploy. SEO providers may supply domain metrics and crawl evidence.

How data is used

Collected evidence is used to show the dashboard, run the automations you can see, and produce advisory insights. AI analysis receives bounded evidence. Scheduled collection cannot modify a repository. A Fix now run can propose a bounded repository change only through a user-requested draft pull request; it has no authority to merge, change DNS, or deploy software.

Retention and sharing

Namechecked does not sell customer data. Data is shared only with the infrastructure and providers required to operate the service, and retained until the user or organization is removed, or operational retention requires deletion. Account deletion removes sole-member organizations; a shared organization owner must transfer ownership first. Contact the administrator who issued your access to request correction.
